Nipple

Nipples are short pieces of pipe that have threads on both ends. They are used to connect two fittings or valves, or to extend the pipe run.
Nipples can be either seamless or welded and can be made of the same materials as flanges, elbows, tees, reducers, and caps. Nipples are also rated by their pressure class and schedule number.
